It was developed with both \u201cmusical expression\u201d and &#8220;real world&#8221; application in mind, as sought by Isogai. At first I was under the impression that the strings were of a thinner gauge. The sound is light in a good sense. However, when the rear pickup is used, the bass is firm and does not feel light at all. I have a feeling that it will sound better the more I play it. The body doesn&#8217;t feel too heavy, and it feels stylish. And momose has strong and stable necks, so they rarely warp. I used it for recording, and it was very well received by sound engineers and arrangers.
