The signature model of Osamuraisan, a solo guitarist who is active mainly in posting videos on the Internet and is widely supported across countries and generations, has been renewed as the new “HJ-OSAMURAISAN II”. While maintaining the concept of a guitar that is easy to play and recommended for beginners, the HJ-OSAMURAISAN II has been upgraded in terms of both appearance and playability with new fretboard inlays, a new bridge shape, and a new matte coated neck for smoother left hand movement. The most significant features are the dovetail joint and post-finishing processing of the neck, which were previously only available on high-end models. The body and neck are now more unified, resulting in a more solid sound.<\/p>

Based on the design of Osamuraisan’s beloved Headway Custom Model, the HJ-523, this guitar is made with an emphasis on “playability” so that it can be recommended to those who want to start playing guitar or those who are picking the hobby back up. The fretboard inlay is designed after Snowflakes.<\/p>

Some words from Osamuraisan, who co-developed this signature model with Headway. \nThis model HJ-OSAMURAISAN has been tuned to be easy to play, with a lower string action and Extra Light strings. The model is based on my own Headway HJ-523, and was made to be as easy to play and sound as good as possible in a low-priced version.\n

\nWhat is a good sound? It is something that is received differently by different listeners, and different genres require different sounds and different guitars for different tunes and phrases. Ease of playability is a universal element in this context. It is because it is easy to play that it is possible to create a good sound. If you want to express yourself in various ways with a single guitar, I feel that ease of play is the first priority. This is especially true if it is your first guitar.\n

\nSince ancient times, there has been a Japanese saying, “the beauty of use. It means that tools made in pursuit of functionality are beautiful. Rather than pursuing beauty from the outset, the pursuit of practicality paradoxically results in the creation of something beautiful. I think the same can be said for sound. If you have played guitar before and quit because you could not play well, please try this guitar. It will definitely be easier to play than the previous one. If you want to start playing guitar, please try this guitar first, and if possible, compare it with other guitars and choose this one.\n

\nIt is a good idea to play a guitar that is easy to play and pursue your own sound after you become proficient on the guitar. If you find it fun to play, your musical world will expand rapidly. Osamuraisan<\/h2>\n

A solo acoustic guitarist who “makes the guitar sing”, he has been posting his performance works on the Internet since 2007. His solo guitar arrangement titled “I Rocked with an Acoustic Guitar” sparked his popularity, and the total number of views of his performance videos exceeded 100 million. After passing the voting and live screening process, he performed at SUMMER SONIC 2011, and participated in the background music for ABC Asahi Broadcasting Corporation’s 60th anniversary drama “Circumstances”, as well as S.E.N.S.’s music. With a background in a wide range of musical and instrumental experiences, his compositions incorporating special techniques have been accepted by a wide range of audiences, transcending the boundaries of the solo guitar. His guitar, which sometimes barks violently and sometimes spins emotional sounds, has been described as it “singing”.
