This was prompted by our learning about the damage caused by the pine wood nematode, which had become a problem in Nagano Prefecture.\n                        Pine wood with insect damage, knots, or stains is generally considered unsuitable for furniture or construction materials, and much of it is incinerated. The \u201cRed Pine Guitar Project\u201d was launched based on the idea of repurposing such wood for guitars.
