In this article, we&#8217;ll focus on electric basses and compile a list of limited edition models to be exhibited by each brand. The semi-hollow construction, which is not very common for an electric bass, is one of the main appeals of this model. Compared to a solid body, the semi-hollow construction emphasizes the richness of the sound, and the body itself is lighter, making it easier to handle and play. The sound hole of the hollow part is also made in the shape of cherry blossom petals, giving the bass a Japanese look that is quite unique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-egb-c-grid c-grid\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-egb-c-grid-unit c-grid__u c-grid__u_medium_1of2\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1920\" src=\"https:\/\/www.deviser.co.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/DSC_5542-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-474944\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-egb-c-grid-unit c-grid__u c-grid__u_medium_1of2\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1920\" src=\"https:\/\/www.deviser.co.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/DSC_5535-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-474954\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The design follows that of the limited edition model released by Headway this spring. The design features a swallow, a bird that heralds the coming of spring, and is a tribute to the late master builder Yasuo Momose, one of the creators of Bacchus, who looked forward to seeing the swallows that came to visit his workshop every spring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1920\" src=\"https:\/\/www.deviser.co.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/DSC_4241-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-474948\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The coloring for this model is a grayish blue, inspired by the calm skies of spring, and it was specially formulated for this model. A superb piece of rare \u201cJindai Flame Tamo\u201d will be exhibited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">\u2015 What&#8217;s the Premium Collection?<\/span><br><\/strong>This lineup is comprised of one-off models that are made from a variety of rare woods carefully selected from the Aska Workshop&#8217;s lumber reserve and that are then made according to the craftsman&#8217;s specifications to make the most out of those materials. Only at the Deviser Special Showcase &amp; the One Day Guitar Show events will you be able to find these one-of-a-kind guitars made from the best materials and parts, transcending the boundaries between brands.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong><span class=\"marker\">Momose<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Momose, a leader in the popularity of Japanese wood will, of course, be exhibiting limited edition models. In addition to Sakura and Tochi (Japanese horse chestnut) wood models, and the popular EWC (Exotic Wood Custom) series of models will also make an appearance!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>&#8220;Hyuga Sakura\u201d made from Sakura wood from Miyazaki Prefecture<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1920\" src=\"https:\/\/www.deviser.co.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/DSC_3798-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-474968\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1920\" src=\"https:\/\/www.deviser.co.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/DSC_0325-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-474970\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Last year marked the 10th anniversary of the start of production of Deviser&#8217;s Sakura Guitars, which have been made from cherry wood from all over Japan. The cherry wood used in this year&#8217;s Special Showcase is the first to come from Miyazaki Prefecture in Kyushu, a prefecture located at the southernmost end of Japan that&#8217;s known for its tropical landscapes and climate. The name \u201cHyuga Sakura\u201d comes from the fact that a region in present-day Miyazaki Prefecture was once called \u201cHyuga\u201d (meaning \u201cSunny place\u201d in Japanese). The nature of the wood is similar to mahogany, and its solid weight can be felt in the hand even in the pre-processing stages of production. In terms of appearance, it has a slightly greenish tinge compared to mahogany and other woods. It will be interesting to see how it will sound in combination with Sakura wood glued on top of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-egb-c-grid c-grid\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-egb-c-grid-unit c-grid__u c-grid__u_medium_1of2\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"2008\" height=\"1506\" src=\"https:\/\/www.deviser.co.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/DSC_4211.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-475048\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-egb-c-grid-unit c-grid__u c-grid__u_medium_1of2\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1920\" src=\"https:\/\/www.deviser.co.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/DSC_3194-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-475046\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right\">*Photographs are of guitars of shared design.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>To create a design with a story to match the wood, we have packed a lot of small details in the fretboard inlay and other parts of the guitar. In Miyazaki Prefecture, a type of palm tree called \u201cphoenix\u201d is known as the prefectural tree. Its name comes from its large leaves, which resemble the wings of a phoenix, and we have incorporated this into the design. Please look forward to a new and refreshing image of a Sakuraguitar that evokes a tropical breeze!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>A Representative of Japanese wood, &#8220;Tochi&#8221; (Japanese horse chestnut)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1920\" src=\"https:\/\/www.deviser.co.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/DSC_0522-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-474974\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The Tochi model not only uses this beautifully grained wood for the body top, but also for the back. After alder and ash, Tochi is the wood with the most impressive punchy tone from the highs to the mid, is Tochi, which Deviser is very keen on. It is also a practical wood that sounds great in band ensembles and that cuts through the mix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-egb-c-grid c-grid\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"2432\" height=\"1824\" src=\"https:\/\/www.deviser.co.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/DSC_3662.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-474976\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1920\" src=\"https:\/\/www.deviser.co.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/DSC_4458-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-474972\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The color we went for is blue, one of the colors most compatible with the beautiful white grain of Tochi. It is not just plain blue, but it even has a grayish tinge that gives the appearance of a Japanese kimono.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>EWC (Exotic Wood Custom)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1920\" src=\"https:\/\/www.deviser.co.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/DSC_8017-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-475008\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The Exotic Wood Custom is a collection of one-off models that combine materials carefully selected by the Aska Workshop craftsmen, which stocks not only domestic wood but also rare woods from around the world. These are some of the most sought-after models at the Special Showcase event, combining wood combinations that cannot be found anywhere else, delicate coloring by craftsmen who know how to make the most out of the uniqueness of each wood material, and the player-oriented specifications that Momose always aims for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-jetpack-tiled-gallery aligncenter
