The \u201cDX\u201d, or “Deluxe” models are the latest addition to the Universe Series lineup, featuring stainless steel frets, heel-less cut, and other full-fledged modern specs in an entry-level model. This new active model with a preamplifier further expands the range of sound creation that’s available in the DX series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2-band EQ with active circuit<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In addition to volume and blender knobs, it also features a simple 2-band EQ with original preamp. The treble\/bass control can be adjusted at your fingertips. The sound of the active bass is clear and contoured, and it cuts through the mix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The active circuit is powered by one 9V battery. A dedicated battery holder is mounted on the body back for easy battery replacement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
