The -Florentine Cutaway- has an eye-catching sharp cut, but it is a practical cutaway with good playability in the higher frets.
The Florentine Cutaway is difficult to manufacture, each cutaway is bent and fitted by hand by a craftsman, but the results are worth the extra effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new -HOFC- is based on the conventional “HC” body, but the thickness of the body has been changed.
The thickness of the body has been increased by 11mm compared to the conventional -HC- model, and the volume inside the body has been increased to achieve a richer bass sound and body resonance.
The increase in body volume also gives it a more expansive sound, making it a perfect match for fingerstyle, arpeggio, and other genres where you want to hear every note.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The headstock is a -Y500 head- that master builder Masato Yasui mainly uses in his custom store models to match the stylish body. The headstock has a concave shape at the top of the head, and the sides of the head are gently curved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The headstock logo is a simple feather inlay with the “Headway” logo in a handwritten style.
Headway has long been using the eagle as a motif to express its intellectual image. The eagle has been a motif of Headway for many years, and the quill pen is a way to express a classy image. The quill was a major writing tool from the 5th to the 19th century and played an important role in official documents before the invention of the typewriter in the 19th century.
The new logo for Headway follows this image and is based on the image of a quill pen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The neck grip is the “Extra Slim U Grip,” which boasts the best grip in the history of Headway title.
The Extra Slim U Grip is thinner than the conventional Headway grip, making it easier to play even with a tight grip.
The extra slim grip has a “high strength neck” with carbon rods as supports for a thin yet rigid neck grip.
The carbon support also has a positive effect on the sound, contributing to better response and sustain due to the increased neck rigidity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This model uses 5A grade Koa material for the sides and back.
Koa is known as a high-grade material, and in recent years it has become increasingly difficult to obtain, but this model uses the finest grade 5A material from the Aska factory stock.
In addition, in order to match the atmosphere of the koa wood, a brown burst is applied to the entire body to create a unified look.
In terms of sound, this model has a rich sound that matches its looks, with the sparkle unique to koa wood and a wide bass range that doesn’t collapse even with strong picking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
