Compared to the traditional design of the HD-115, the HD-500 is a more modern and ambitious work with specifications that make it a ready-to-use instrument.
While inheriting the features of the Aska Team Build Series, this guitar has the familiarity of a guitar that can be played live and on recordings, and gives a sense of reliability that only a Japanese-made guitar can offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ’34 Semi-forward-shifted, Scalloped X Bracing,’ which Momose arrived at after many iterations over the years of making guitars is used for this series.

The cross position of the bracing is set close to the soundhole.
The wider open space near the bridge allows the top board to vibrate more easily, resulting in a fuller, softer sound with more emphasis on the lower register.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The headstock features a flapping eagle wood inlay. The logo is also designed to match the rounded shape of the headstock.
The position markings are snowflake inlays with different sizes depending on the frets for a more luxurious look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rosetta is not just a herringbone pattern but is accented with a red line, the theme color of the 500 series. The pickguard also has a modern, original tortoiseshell pattern with an original shape that suits it very well in our opinion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
