The exceptional playability born from this careful construction is highly regarded by many top players, embodying the reliable quality of the Momose brand. The MC2\/R features a combination of an ash body and a rosewood fingerboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The MC2\/R model features a C-shaped neck grip that’s easy to hold regardless of hand size. Its satin finish enables smooth, stress-free position changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the 2026 Momose product renewal, the newly developed \u201cAwake\u201d pickups are featured. The neck and center positions utilize Alnico 4 magnets, producing sweet highs and a natural tone. For the bridge position, which can tend toward a thin sound, Alnico 5 magnets are employed to deliver a powerful, sharp sound. While aiming for the \u201cperfect sound\u201d in each position, we adjusted the balance to achieve a unified feel. True to its name, these pickups embody the image of awakening the player\u2019s expressiveness and creativity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Centralab\u00ae Oil Capacitor<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

With the development of the new pickups, we also reevaluated the capacitor. From numerous candidates, we selected Centralab\u2019s oil-filled capacitor based on its compatibility with the sound profile of the pickups. It offers excellent responsiveness to the player\u2019s nuances and a bright, forward-projecting sound, creating the new Momose tone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
