WOODLINE5-HL24

I feel that WOODLINE5-HL24 has a clear and modern sound compared to a typical bass with a head. Perhaps due to the influence of the lack of a head, I have the impression that the overtone components in the sound are organized in a good way. It works very well with tapping techniques and can also produce a modern slap sound.
Musically, the impression is that it suits jazz and fusion, but since it is equipped with an active preamp, it can also create an aggressive sound that suits Rock and Djent, making it versatile enough for a variety of music genres, even hardcore ones.
The oil coating is very thin compared to traditional finishes, which gives it a pure and clean sound with an acoustic feel to it. When you touch it, you can directly feel the warmth of the wood, and it’s easy to become attached to it thaks to this.
Parts such as Aguilar and Hipshot are popular brands, so there is a sense of security knowing that reliable components were used for this model. The bridge is compatible with regular strings, not only double-ball-end strings, which is nice.

The biggest advantage is the ease of handling and carrying. It fits in my guitar gig bag, is lightweight, and takes up little space, making it easy to take to gigs and rehearsal studios regardless of the method of transportation you want to use. In some live houses and studios, there are often situations where you feel cramped due to various equipment being placed there, and it is in such situations that I strongly feel the advantage of headless instruments and their ease of handling. Another important point is that the neck does not neck dive (head falling off) while playing, for obvious reasons.

I have the impression that the number of headless bass users is increasing all over the world, and I recommend Bacchus headless basses to all kinds of people!
