Introduction

BARON-JAZZ ×P-90-type Pickups

The BARON-JAZZ, featuring acoustic-like decorations and F-holes on the body, is now available in a new model equipped with P-90 type pickups. The tone produced by the single-coil pickup is characterized by the rich sound produced by the semi-hollow body.

New -STP-Alnico- staple-type pickup

-STP-Alnico- P-90-type pickups and -STP-5- are used on this model. The -STP-Alnico- in the neck position has a vintage-style staple-shaped pole piece and a natural tone with a slight acoustic resonance to it. The -STP-5- in the bridge position combines the bell-like, sweet, and warm tone characteristic of single coils. Both pickups use Alnico 5 magnets and metal braided wires.

Strap-pin

The “Jazz” model features a semi-hollow construction with f-holes, bringing an acoustic impression to the forefront. Spruce is commonly used for acoustic guitars as well as violins. It is characterized by its soft woody texture and contributes to a rich unplugged sound.

Nyatoh Body

The nyatoh body with moderate weight provides a good sense of balance when playing standing up.

Medium Scale

A medium scale of 628mm (24.75inch), with slightly narrower fret spacing than the common single-cut models, is used for this model. The bolt-on type neck construction also makes it possible to enjoy smooth playing even at higher frets.

TOM bridge & toggle switch

This model is equipped with a TOM-type bridge that transmits string vibration more directly to the body. The pickup selector is equipped with a toggle switch that allows you to instantly switch to your favorite sound.

Set up by our specialized inspection department in Japan
