Since its release in 2020, the “BST-2-RSM” has become one of Bacchus’s most popular models, gaining favor among a wide range of users both in Japan and abroad thanks to its practical SSH layout and roasted maple neck.

Kazuki Isogai, a guitarist whose mellow guitar sound, rooted in genres such as hip hop and neo soul, has garnered immense popularity worldwide, oversaw the development of the BST-2-RSM. The result is this upgraded model, the “BST-2 KI-RSM/R-CTM”, which features enhanced playability and a touch of whimsy.

This has become a model that Mr. Isogai confidently recommends to players who are just starting out on the guitar, as well as to those who want to enjoy playing the guitar even more.

Turbo Switch

Equipped with a “Turbo Switch” that produces a fat sound. When the switch is set to the upper position, the neck and middle pickups are connected in series, resulting in a thick, humbucker-like tone. This is ideal for lead playing and heavy sounds with distortion, further expanding your range of sound variations.
It’s a playful new feature that’s sure to lift your spirits when you turn it on.

Alnico 5 Magnet Pickups

This set features pickups with Alnico 5 magnets. They deliver a clear and powerful sound that ranges from crunch to high-gain, while also excelling at producing sparkling clean tones and naturally bringing out the player’s nuances.

High-pass Filter

The volume control is equipped with a high-pass filter (Treble Bleed). On guitars without a high-pass filter, turning down the volume not only reduces the overall volume but also cuts the high frequencies, resulting in a slightly muffled sound. This feature eliminates that problem, ensuring that even when the volume is turned down, the high frequencies remain intact, and only the volume decreases while maintaining a sound close to that at full volume. This results in a more natural change in volume.

Cattle Bone Nut

The nut, a crucial component that supports the strings, is made of cow bone. Compared to resin materials such as PPS, it produces a sound with a well-defined tone. The unique texture of this natural material is also a key feature.

Big Size Strap Pin

Features a large strap pin similar to those used by the Momose brand. It securely fastens the strap, reducing the risk of the guitar falling while playing.

Headstock Design

The tip of the headstock features an original logo representing the Kazuki Isogai model.
The white machinehead parts serve as a subtle accent, giving the guitar a vintage feel.

Roasted Maple

Like the base model, the BST-2-RSM, this guitar features a neck made of roasted maple, which has been heat-treated to increase its rigidity.
In addition to being resistant to warping and twisting, it offers the appealing, mature sound of a guitar that has aged over time.

A Tokyo-based guitarist whose mellow guitar sound, rooted in genres like hip-hop and neo-soul, has garnered a massive following.
With approximately 200,000 followers each on Instagram and YouTube, he enjoys popularity both in Japan and abroad.
Since participating in the 2019 NAMM Show, he has gradually expanded his reach overseas, touring Asia, the United States, Europe, and Africa.
In addition to his solo work, he provides backing and recording support for artists such as Obukuro Nariaki, CreepyNuts, NewJeans, and Nao Yoshioka.
He joined SANABAGUN. in 2022.
His signature model, the “Momose MJS-MV Kazuki Isogai”, was released under the Momose brand.
