Introduction
Entry-level model with superb playability

The GS-2EX RSM/M is a new variant on the GS-2DX RSM/M model that also features a body shape that is in the lineage of Bacchus’ flagship G-STUDIO model, with stainless steel frets and a coil tap switch, but that additionally features a 2-point floating tremeolo bridge, bone nut, and locking tuner machineheads, further improving on the value offered by the original model and giving you even more tools a modern player would want, still at an entry-level price point.
Heel-less cut

Heel-less cut, which is rare for an entry-level model, enables smooth fingering even when playing at higher frets. The slight contouring on the bush bolt area also enhances playability.
Stainless steel frets

Stainless steel frets are used for their superb wear resistance and good articulation. The jumbo-size frets allow for smooth string pressing and extended sustain, making it suitable for a wide range of genres.
“GS” body shape inherited from the Handmade Series

It features the same body shape as the Bacchus brand’s top-of-the-line “G-STUDIO” model. It has a slightly slimmer body and a redesigned back contour compared to the standard ST-type model.
S-S-H Pickup layout & Coil tap switch
This model follows the G-STUDIO’s regular S-S-H pickup layout with original Alnico Bacchus pickups. The bridge position features a coil-tap mechanism that switches the humbucker tone to a single-coil tone. An independent mini-switch allows smooth switching while playing.
Side jack

The output jack is located on the side of the body to improve handling during performances. It does not interfere with dynamic playing on stage, allowing you to freely move and perform.
Roasted maple neck
■About roasted maple
Roasted Maple is a material that comes as a result of treating Maple wood with a high heat process, volatilizing the water and oils in the wood, giving as a result a more sturdy and durable wood that not only increases stability but also the overall sound quality of the material. The sound that we get from Roasted Maple is a rich, organic sound with a vintage-like tone that is reminiscent of an instrument that has aged its sound with time and usage. This is a new product lineup of Bacchus that puts this amazing feature, which is often used in high-end models, at a reasonable price range.
※The degree of color change due to the roasting process and the grain of the maple may vary from unit to unit.
Equipped with a 2-point tremolo unit & locking machine heads

This model is equipped with the same two-point tremolo unit as the TAC24 model. By using the two studs on the left and right sides as fulcrums, the resistance of the moving parts during arming is much less, resulting in smoother arming and more stable tuning.
How to adjust the tremolo arm

The torque to hold the arm in place can be adjusted by tightening the locking screw on the side of the tremolo block. Adjust the torque with the 1.5mm wrench supplied with the unit by lowering the arm to expose the locking screw.
*Please note that releasing the arm down with the wrench inserted may damage the painted surface.

In addition, it is equipped with “Locking” machine heads, a mechanism that raises the pole in the string post when the wheel on the back of the pegs is turned, clamping and securing the strings in place. This not only facilitates string changes but also improves tuning stability.
