Pearl White × Black Pearl Pickguard

The challenging Pearl White (PWH) color is reproduced based on samples blended at the Aska Workshop in Japan, which handles domestic high-end models. Its soft, elegant luster radiates a rich presence in your hands, with a finish that changes how it looks depending on the viewing angle.
The black pearl pickguard creates a glossy contrast, adding depth to the design.

Stained Purpleheart Fingerboard

The fingerboard is made of stained purpleheart.
Purpleheart wood naturally features a faintly purple appearance, but it has been dyed black to create an ebony-like, luxurious look.
As a material, it is extremely hard and excels at producing a bright sound with a slightly higher peak than rosewood.

Matching Headstock

The headstock and body share the same color for a unified look, enhancing the overall aesthetic and allowing you to fully appreciate its visual beauty.

Stainless Steel Frets

Features durable jumbo-sized stainless steel frets. Compared to standard nickel silver frets, they offer higher hardness and resistance to wear, ensuring long-lasting performance. Additionally, they deliver sound benefits, producing a clear tone with distinct separation and extended sustain.

Heel-less cut

The heel-less cutaway, rare for an entry-level model, enables smooth fingering even when playing high frets. Contouring applied to the bolt-on neck joint also enhances playability.

Body shape of the top-of-the-line model in the Bacchus brand

The body follows the design of the WOODLINE family, Bacchus’s top-of-the-line models in terms of basses. It is designed to be slimmer than a typical JB-style electric bass, achieving both a comfortable feel when cradled and excellent playability.

Roasted Maple Neck

■What is Roasted Maple?

Roasted maple is maple wood that has been artificially aged by heating it at high temperatures to evaporate moisture and oils within the wood, which makes it less prone to warping and twisting. When used for guitar necks, this process enhances not only stability but also sound, producing a rich, natural resonance and a well-rounded, vintage-like tone reminiscent of aged wood. While typically reserved for high-end models, we’ve successfully made it available at a more accessible price point.
