Introduction
A practical model that embodies the essence of the -WOODLINE- family
The new “WJB-750M-ASH” model, featuring an ash body, is being added to the Bacchus Universe Series lineup. Although it is an entry-level model, it features a chambered body structure, which reduces its overall weight. In terms of sound, it features Bacchus exclusive updates, such as the “Turbo Switch” found across the -WOODLINE- models, while retaining its traditional vibe.
Ash body × Maple fingerboard
We’ve selected ash wood for its responsive feel and well-defined sound, combined with a maple fingerboard known for its distinctive high-end clarity. This creates a tone that cuts through the mix and stands out, even in a band setting. Additionally, to ensure comfortable playability during long sessions, we’ve adopted a chambered body design with hollowed-out sections to reduce weight. This design aims to balance the sound expected from an ash body with excellent playability.
-WOODLINE- body shape
This model features the slim, downsized body that is the defining characteristic of the -WOODLINE- series. You’ll feel just how well it fits your body when you hold it.
Turbo switch
Equipped with the Turbo Switch inherited from the flagship “WOODLINE” models. Pulling up the tone knob activates the Turbo Switch, which connects the two single-coil pickups in series, producing a thick, humbucker-like sound.
(Note: When the Turbo Switch is on, volume is controlled by the front volume knob. The rear volume knob is bypassed in this mode.)
Wheel nut
It features a wheel-type truss rod nut. You can easily adjust the neck without removing the strings
Color variations
Available in six colors that showcase the natural grain of ash wood. In addition to CNA (Clear Natural) and ANA (Amber Natural), which exude a traditional vibe, the lineup also includes vibrant translucent colors. Through repeated color adjustments during the prototyping phase, we’ve achieved a look that rivals even our high-end models.
Vintage-style design
Featuring block position markers that are appreciated for both their appearance and visibility. The neck and fingerboard feature a satin finish for smooth playing, while the headstock top is finished with the same glossy finish as the body. This design combines a vintage feel with excellent playability.
