Introduction

Model using a multiscale design

As the name “multi-scale” suggests, this refers to the use of multiple scales within a single model. While standard basses typically have a uniform scale length across all strings, this model features a 34-inch scale on the first string, with the scale length gradually increasing toward the lower strings, culminating in a 35-inch scale on the lowest string.

This creates firmer tension on the lower strings, improving stability when fretting. On the 4th string, this allows you to play while maintaining just the right amount of tension, even when using drop tunings like Drop D, and on the 5th string, it ensures stability for the low B note.

On this bass, the scale length of the high-string side is set to 34 inches, the same as a standard bass, to ensure consistent string tension throughout. Additionally, the design maintains a look similar to that of a traditional bass so that even players accustomed to standard basses can play it without feeling out of place.
These features make it a reliable choice as an entry-level multi-scale bass.

Active Circuit

This active circuit features a 2-band EQ that allows you to adjust frequencies in the treble and bass ranges. It enables more precise sound shaping, allowing you to tailor your tone to suit any genre or playing style.

To accommodate the multi-scale design, the guitar features a single-string bridge that allows for individual scale length adjustment on each string. This independent bridge design strikes a balance between string tension and playability.

Stainless-steel Frets

This model features stainless steel frets known for their wear resistance and excellent grain structure. The jumbo-sized frets enable smooth fingering and a rich, sustained tone, making them suitable for a wide range of musical genres.

Heel-less Cut

The heel-less cut, a rare feature in entry-level models, allows for smooth fingering even when playing high frets. The bush bolt area has been slightly contoured to enhance playability.

Roasted Maple Neck

What is Roasted Maple?

Roasted maple is a type of wood that has been heat-treated at high temperatures to evaporate moisture and oils, artificially mimicking the appearance of wood that has aged naturally. Wood that has undergone this aging process is less prone to warping and twisting. When used for the neck, this material offers not only enhanced stability but also improves the sound, producing a rich, natural resonance and a mature, vintage-like tone. While this wood is typically found in high-end models, we have successfully made it available at an affordable price point.
