Based on the body shape and construction of Bacchus’s classic electric bass model, the “WOODLINE,” this model has been redesigned as a headless bass. With a compact size similar to that of a standard electric guitar, it fits easily into limited spaces such as studios or living rooms and is convenient to carry in a case.
This is the perfect choice for players who want to feel more connected to their bass and enjoy playing it.
A Headless Design Developed Through Extensive Research
We conducted extensive research into the specifications and construction of each component to achieve a sound and playability that feel natural even when switching from a bass with a headstock. This enables versatile sound design that accommodates a wide range of genres and playing styles without compromising sustain or harmonic content.
A body shape that’s easy to hold
While retaining WOODLINE’s slim body shape, this model has been redesigned with a 24-fret configuration to accommodate a headless design. In addition to its stylish appearance, the compact and highly maneuverable design ensures excellent playability, making it easy to handle even for smaller players.

The Bacchus Handmade series is Bacchus’s top-of-the-line series, produced by Asuka Ltd., based in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture.
We continue to hone our skills every day, building upon and further developing the foundations, including jigs and techniques, established by master craftsman Yasuo Momose from the 1980s through the 1990s.
