SeventySeven Japan Tune-up Series

Seventy Seven Guitars was established in 2006, and since then has been a well-reputed Japanese semi-acoustic/full-acoustic guitar brand that seeks a high quality unplugged sound. The “Seventy Seven Japan Tune-Up Series” is based on the guitar-making know-how cultivated over 40 years of experience since the Headway factory was established in 1977, and is designed to give players the power to create rich musical expression through detailed adjustments of the neck, frets, and other parts directly related to playability. The neck and frets are adjusted in Japan, and the guitar is set up with the utmost care so that it will fit comfortably in the player’s hand from the factory stage. Please feel free to pick it up and check its playability and sound.

Japan Tune-up Series

Nut and saddle processing for improved playability

The string height is adjusted with outmost precision at the nut for smooth chord changes, and the corners of the nut and saddle are treated smoothly for a beautiful, tactile finish.

Rounded fret edges to reduce stress when playing

By carefully rounding the edge of each fret by hand, using multiple files and sandpaper, the left hand movement has been made smoother. The fretboard can glide from low frets to high frets without stress.

String action adjustment for ease of playing

String action is a major factor in the playability of a guitar, and each JT series guitar is carefully adjusted to the proper string action with emphasis on ease of pressing the strings.

Selected production workshops

Production lines are selected from among Deviser’s overseas production workshops with the highest production technology, and quality control is performed by JT series specialists to ensure a high standard of performance.
