Gradient colors are back on the WL4-ASH model!【Bacchus Global Series】

The popular model “WL4-ASH/RSM” from the Bacchus Global Series sees the return of gradient colors after a long absence! The lineup now includes “RED-GRD (Red Gradation)” and “BLU-GRD (Blue Gradation)”, featuring see-through coloring that highlights the natural grain of ash wood.

“BLU-GRD” & “RED-GRD” Colors that make the most out of the wood grain

BLU-GRD(Blue-Gradation)

The -Blue-Gradation- evokes the impression of ocean depths with its blue hue transitioning from the body center to the body end. To fully showcase the gradient color, a clear material was used for the pickguard.

RED-GRD(Red-Gradation)

The -Red-Gradation- features a warm-toned gradient finish transitioning from natural colors to red. The shift in color from the neck to the endpin adds depth to its appearance, showcasing a distinct character different from solid-color finishes.

About the「WL4-ASH/RSM」model

WOODLINE body inheriting the slim shape of higher-end models

The body of the “WL” model inherits the refined shape of the higher-end “WOODLINE” series. Compared to standard JB-type basses, it features a slimmer profile. This enhances the fit during playing and ensures comfortable handling even during extended sessions.

Ash wood body

True to the “ASH” in its model name, this model features an ash wood body. Ash has long been a staple wood for guitars and basses, characterized by its distinct grain pattern.

Features a roasted maple neck

Roasted maple refers to maple wood that has undergone high-temperature heat treatment. This process removes moisture from within the wood, enhancing the neck’s rigidity. The effect extends to the sound, producing a rich, natural resonance and a well-rounded tone reminiscent of aged vintage instruments.
Additionally, the satin finish applied to the neck contributes to smooth position shifting and excellent playability.

Turbo switch

This model features the turbo switch standard on the higher-end WOODLINE series. Pulling up the tone knob activates the turbo switch, connecting the two single-coil pickups in series. This creates a thick, high-output sound similar to a humbucker pickup, allowing you to handle sections where you need a bit more volume, such as during melody lines in songs.
※When the Turbo switch is on, adjust the volume using the neck PU volume knob. The bridge PU volume knob is bypassed at this time.
