2018 Tokyo Music Fair STR Stabilized wood collection
STR stabilized wood collection is a series of STR custom shop basses showcased at Tokyo Music Fair 2018.
Stabilized wood is a special wood material that has been impregnated with a chemical stabilizing solution to have a striking appearance and increased durability.
As the solution that consists of multiple dyes is soaked deep into the wood, the stabilized wood shows complicated colors and texture.
LS “Lead Style” STR bass guitars feature traditional detachable necks, double cutaway, and 24 frets. The cutaway gives players easier access to the higher frets without any sense of discomfort. The neck consists of 3 or 5 pieces to increase durability.
