STR Guitars Customshop produces each instrument entirely by hand as a one-off piece. Model designations consist of letters and numbers indicating each product’s construction and features. Please use the information below as a reference.
ELECTRIC BASS
The first letter of the model number indicates the basic body shape, the hundreds digit specifies the number of strings, the tens digit indicates the scale length, and the ones digit denotes the string spacing.
The Sierra series is a new line launched in 2015, offering STR quality at a more affordable price point to reach a wider audience. Controlling production costs does not mean compromising on quality. All wood is properly seasoned over time and meticulously crafted by hand by skilled artisans. We use carefully selected components, including GOTOH hardware, Aguilar preamps, Mojotone pickups, and original parts from Deviser featuring the STR team. We pursued the sound and playability demanded by serious players.
