Introduction

Block Position Markers × WBD Color

A new model joins the Ash Body TACTICS series. Featuring a WBD (White Blonde) finish that allows the ash wood grain to shine through, it incorporates block position markers adapted from the base model. Equipped with a tortoiseshell-pattern pickguard and featuring celluloid binding on the fingerboard, this model is a more luxurious version of itself!

ROASTED MAPLE(RSM)Series

Roasted Maple is a material that comes as a result of treating Maple wood with a high heat process, volatilizing the water and oils in the wood, giving as a result a more sturdy and durable wood that not only increases stability but also the overall sound quality of the material. The sound that we get from Roasted Maple is a rich, organic sound with a vintage-like tone that is reminiscent of an instrument that has aged its sound with time and use. This is a new product lineup of Bacchus that puts this amazing feature, which is often used in high-end models, at a reasonable price range.

Roasted Maple Neck

The use of roasted maple for the neck lends it the feel of a high-end model. Its high rigidity as a neck minimizes issues and produces a crisp, vintage guitar-like tone with excellent attack.

※The color of the neck may vary due to the differences in each piece’s roasting process and the grain pattern of each maple wood piece.

24-fret specification & stainless steel jumbo frets for technical playing

The “TACTICS24” features a 24-fret design, as its name suggests. It also employs stainless steel jumbo frets. Being harder than the strings, they exhibit relatively less degradation over the years of use. Their smooth surface allows for effortless fingering and choking.

Heel cut processing to support high-fret playing

The heel cut process has been applied to the joint between the neck and body. By eliminating the joint plate, it achieves a natural shape that fits comfortably in the hand when playing high frets, eliminating any sense of discomfort.

Locking Tuners

The locking tuner features a mechanism where turning the wheel on the back of the tuner raises a rod inside the string post, locking the string in place by clamping it. This dramatically improves tuning stability by reducing the number of turns required on the string post.

Because it’s a mechanism that clamps the strings, there’s no need to wind them tightly, which offers the advantages of reducing string-changing time and minimizing tension fluctuations.

This is the instruction manual for the locking tuners installed on this product. Please refer to it when changing strings.

Wilkinson® 2-Stud Tremolo Unit

While standard tremolo units typically use six screws to secure the bridge, this model employs the ‘WILKINSON/WVS50IIK’ tremolo unit, featuring two studs as pivot points on the left and right. This design provides a wider range of motion during arm-assisted playing, allowing approximately 1.25 semitones of downward movement and approximately one whole tone of upward movement.

Additionally, even if tension fluctuates due to arm movement, load is applied to only two points, making tuning more stable than with a six-point tremolo unit.

Graphtech® TUSQ Nut for the best sound

The nut features the world-standard ‘Graphtech TUSQ Nut’ adopted by top-tier luthiers and manufacturers. The TUSQ nut excels at efficiently transmitting string vibration from the body to the bridge, designed to richly resonate everything from high to low frequencies and even harmonic components. It also provides smooth string glide and contributes to tuning stability.

2 humbuckers + coil tap switch

The pickup features two humbuckers. Characterized by a bassy, round, and powerful sound, it delivers a presence-filled tone even in clean settings. Furthermore, humbuckers boast a noise-resistant design, making them exceptionally well-suited for heavy distortion styles like distortion and metal. This specification ensures versatile performance across any genre.

A coil tap switch is a switch found on humbucker pickups, which consists of connecting both coils in series. It cancels the signal from one coil and allows only the signal from the other coil to be output. This enables the pickup to produce the sound of a single coil, similar to a single-coil pickup.

As mentioned earlier, humbuckers are characterized by a warm, powerful sound with a bass-heavy tone. However, by switching via the coil tap switch, they can also produce a crisp, clean sound reminiscent of a single-coil pickup.
