Two models featuring a new pickup configuration are now available in the popular BPPG configuration [Bacchus Universe Series]
From the Bacchus Universe Series, we’re excited to introduce the “BST-4-RSM/R-BPPG”, featuring a vintage look and an H-S-H pickup configuration, and the “WPJ-520 RSM/R-BPPG”, which incorporates a new PJ-style design. Each model is available in a distinctive lineup of five colors, all featuring the highly popular Black Pearl Pickguard (BPPG) from the series.
BST-4-RSM/R-BPPG
H-S-H Pickup & Coil Tap Switch
It features a modern H-S-H pickup configuration. The single-coil pickup in the middle position delivers a clean, clear tone, providing pleasant clarity for arpeggios and strumming. The humbuckers on the neck and bridge offer a rich, powerful tone with long sustain, producing a sound that pairs well with distortion and other effects.
The neck and bridge humbucker pickups feature a coil tap function. This function is activated when the tone knob is pulled up, allowing you to play with a simulated single-coil tone. Designed with today’s diverse music scene in mind, this feature lets you draw out a wide range of expressive possibilities from a single guitar.
WPJ-520 RSM/R-BPPG
It features a PJ-style pickup configuration, combining a PB-type pickup in the front position and a JB-type pickup in the bridge position. By combining the powerful PB sound, known for its distinctive midrange, with the well-defined tone of the JB-type pickup, it offers a wide range of tonal possibilities and the versatility to handle any genre.

With a texture reminiscent of a black pearl, where glossy black and white tones coexist, the Black Pearl Pickguard offers an elegant and luxurious finish. It harmonizes beautifully with the body color, enhancing the hue while making a bold statement.
Roasted maple neck & rosewood fingerboard
Roasted Maple is a type of maple that has been heat-treated at high temperatures to evaporate moisture and oils from the wood, increasing its rigidity. When used for the neck, this process enhances not only stability but also the sound, producing a rich, natural resonance and a mature, vintage-like tone that develops over time. The deep hue of the rosewood used for the fingerboard harmonizes beautifully with the colors of the body and pickguard, resulting in a finish that exudes a sense of luxury despite being an entry-level model.
