The Bacchus Universe Series welcomes a new “GM (Glossy Matte)” model with a semi-gloss finish. In this article, we’ll introduce the entire new lineup, which boasts a unique presence thanks to its exquisite texture.

GM-BLK-MH (Glossy Matte-Black-Matching head)
As the name suggests, a glossy-matte finish is a unique coating that lies between glossy and matte, characterized by a soft sheen. It changes its appearance depending on how the light hits it, resulting in a finish that exudes a sense of sophistication while maintaining a subdued, understated look.
The headstock is finished in the same paint scheme, creating a unified look for the entire instrument.
Rosewood fingerboard & roasted maple neck
The fingerboard is crafted from classic rosewood. The roasted maple used for the neck and body not only provides excellent stability but also creates a great balance, appearing as an accent color depending on the viewing angle, so the instrument’s look never feels overly unidimensional.

The BST-2-RSM/R, a staple model in the Bacchus Universe Series, is now available in this new finish. Featuring an SSH pickup configuration and a standard coil tap on the bridge pickup, it offers a wide range of sound-shaping possibilities.
BTE-1-RSM/R
The “BTE-1-RSM” model is another staple of the Universe Series. Previously, the series was available only as the BTE-1-RSM/M with a maple fingerboard, but with this GM model, a rosewood fingerboard option, a first for the series, has been added, offering you an even wider range of choices.
BJM-5-RSM/R
The BJM-5-RSM/R is the first new addition to the series. While featuring the original JM Style pickups, it joins the lineup as a model with its own distinct character as a GM model.
BJB-1-RSM/R
In the base model lineup, the BJB-1-RSM, a staple of the Universe Series, is now available as a GM model. By retaining the series’ traditional appeal while introducing a new texture, this model adds a fresh dimension to the lineup.
