Headway Standard series’ truss rod has been updated!

Until now, aluminum channels were used due to production efficiency, but this has changed! Starting with the serial number S02033 they are being changed to steel rod cores.
We have adopted the same method as the higher-end ATB (Asuka Team Build) model, and the cost performance has been improved more than ever.
We will explain the benefits of the truss rod change down below!

■The benefits of changing truss rods!

The top one is called an iron rod core and is used because it has as little effect on the sound of the guitar as possible.
The bottom one is an aluminum channel rod, which has the advantage of being very easy to work with in terms of woodworking.

■Weight reduction
The steel rod core is about 75 grams lighter than the aluminum channel, leading to an overall weight reduction.

■Sound Change

The aluminum channel had a metallic sound, but by changing to an iron bar core, the effect on the sound is reduced.
By changing to an iron bar core, the effect on the sound is reduced, and the essential character of the wood is enhanced.

While maintaining the concept of high-quality guitars at a low price, we are exploring better sounds!
