A Rosettee with new specs [Deviser Special Showcase 2026]

The “Deviser Special Showcase 2026” will be held on Friday, May 22. There’s just about a week left until the event!

In this article, we’ll be giving you a sneak peek at limited-edition models and new releases crafted by the craftsmen of each Deviser brand ahead of the event.
Today, we’re introducing the Rosettee model from “Deviser Special Showcase”, a brand named after our company and a must-see for our fans.

Rosetta, which resumed production after more than a decade

Before introducing the Rosettee, I’d like to briefly touch on Deviser Special Specification, the brand to which this model belongs, and its sister model, the Rosetta.

Deviser Special Specification is a brand that produced only a very limited number of instruments in the mid-2000s as a fully custom-made project for professionals.
The Rosetta, which became the brand’s flagship model, was produced for just under two years, from April 2005 to January 2007, with only 243 units manufactured during that time. After production ended, the Rosetta’s popularity gradually grew in the secondhand market and elsewhere, and the brand began receiving numerous requests to resume production.

In 2021, marking Deviser’s 30th anniversary, we decided to resume production of the Rosetta series for the first time in 14 years, driven by our desire to respond to feedback from our users. The “Rosetta Vessel-SP21,” unveiled while retaining the key features that define this model, the semi-hollow body, 25-inch scale, and pickguard-less design, quickly became a quiet sensation among fans.

The Rosettee appears

First introduced at the 2023 One Day Guitar Show, the “Rosettee” was born as a derivative model that carries on the Rosetta lineage while featuring a new body shape. Like the Rosetta, it features a semi-hollow body, a 25-inch scale, and a non-pickguard design, bringing a new option to the lineup while staying true to tradition.

Since then, Rosettee has continued to make appearances as a show model, experimenting with different materials and colors. Although produced in limited quantities, the brand has undergone a diverse evolution, incorporating new ideas with each release.

This year’s models incorporate new elements that further expand the possibilities of Rosettee, breathing new life into the series.

The New Rosettee with Updated Features

For our Rosettee display at this year’s Deviser Special Showcase, we’ve boldly incorporated specifications that are a cut above the rest.

2 F-holes

Previous models featured a single F-hole on one side, but a look at the model currently in production reveals two redesigned F-holes on both sides. The body features a design that sets it apart from existing Rosettee models, and we anticipate its release will offer a fresh appeal unlike anything seen before.

Block Inlay

During the neck polishing process, you can see the block-style position inlays on the fingerboard. Since the Rosetta and Rosettee models released in 2021 and later featured only dot-style position markers, this marks the first time these block-style inlays have been used since production resumed. Incidentally, the side position markers on the fingerboard feature Luminlay, a standard phosphorescent material included on all models.

There are also models with herringbone binding

Among the models on display, this one features herringbone binding, a first for the Rosetta and Rosettee models introduced in 2021 and beyond. That extra touch creates a subtle difference that naturally catches the eye.

We also plan to exhibit a one-off model

In addition to the models introduced above, we are currently working diligently on the “Premium Collection” lineup of one-off models, including the Rosettee and Rosetta, which retain traditional features such as the single F-hole. We invite you to come see the finished products on the day of the Special Showcase, where the Rosettee will be unveiled in its new form.
