Marco’s New Signature Model – GIN-SUNRISE

“GIN-SUNRISE” is the new signature model from Marco, guitarist of “Yome to Ore”, a band that has gained immense popularity thanks to the couple’s perfectly synchronized guitar playing.
Unlike the previous model, GIN-FORCE, which was designed for universal appeal, this new model is the result of a painstaking effort to create Marco’s ideal metal sound by prioritizing his personal preferences and re-examining the specifications from the ground up.

Design

It features a “Gin-shu/Gin-Vermilion Orange” color, which was specially created for this model.
Based on the color of the guitar (Momose MC1-STD) that Marco received from a longtime friend, we came up with this color finish after numerous trials to recreate the unique patina resulting from its aging. The reddish-orange hue, reminiscent of the morning sun, is the inspiration behind the model’s name.

Pickup

The “Gin Buck 4” is an original pickup for this model that features Alnico 4 magnets.
It was developed with the goal of preserving the pleasant high-frequency tones even when the guitar is heavily distorted. Out of several prototypes, the version that Marco’s wife and partner, Yome-chan, approved as “the true Marco sound” was selected for production.

Bridge

Features a T.O.M. (Tune-O-Matic) style bridge. Its design places the string anchor point higher, effectively transferring string tension to the body to produce a tight, resonant tone. The neck angle has been adjusted to allow for string action adjustment based on the bridge height.

Body

We deliberately eliminated the contours and adopted a flat body shape that resembles a “slab” of mahogany, left in its natural state.
Combined with a Tun-O-Matic-style bridge, it was designed with the simple concept of “transmitting string vibration directly to the wood” in mind.
The binding wrapped around the top and back serves as an accent.

Fret

Features jumbo-sized frets, the largest available.
This makes hammer-ons and pull-offs easier to execute, and the ease of fingering allows for smooth finger movement.
We selected nickel silver to achieve a well-balanced sound.
