New color now available for the classic models in the Headway Japan Tune-up series! 【Deviser One Day 2025】
At the One Day Guitar Show 2025, the Headway Japan Tune-up Series (JT Series) will introduce a new color, “Amber Sunburst,” for its standard models (HD-5080SE, HF-5080SE, HJ-5080SE, HOC-V090SE).
A color possessing both the transparency and depth of a golden gemstone
The new color, true to its name, features a warm brown reminiscent of amber, finished with a subdued burst effect that evokes the natural fading achieved through aging.
Designed to be placed in your living room or bedroom, this guitar is meant to be picked up daily. That’s why we’ve pursued a color palette that blends naturally into your living space, allowing you to cherish and play it for years to come.
The burst width around the body top’s perimeter is designed to be narrower, resulting in a more modern and refined impression compared to traditional sunbursts.
We have reproduced the color and texture based on the paint samples of domestically produced Headway guitars crafted at the Aska Workshop.
The delicate gradation created by advanced painting techniques lends a modern, refined appearance.

The classic models of the Headway JT series, featuring new colors
HD-5080SE
A standard dreadnought-style model that combines both modernity and tradition, featuring the headstock shape of Headway’s 500 series. Featuring the dynamic sound characteristic of the dreadnought style, it pairs exceptionally well with chord playing and singer-songwriter styles.
HF-5080SE
The Headway 500 Series head shape combines modernity and tradition in this classic folk-style model. Its pronounced waist and relatively thin body make it easy to hold, making it ideal for players with smaller frames or for those just starting out as guitarists.
HJ-5080SE
The Headway 500 Series features a classic round-shoulder style head shape that blends modernity with tradition. While the body is generously sized, its shorter scale compared to a dreadnought makes it easier to play in general. It excels not only for strumming but also for playing styles requiring intricate fingerwork.
HOC-V090SE
A model featuring a cutaway design for smooth access to the higher frets. Boasting excellent response, this easy-to-handle model stands out for its outstanding playability. It excels in any scene or genre, maximizing the player’s expressive potential.
