Introduction
A special-edition “MJS” model featuring anodized parts

Based on the “MJS1/R,” which features an alder body paired with a rosewood fingerboard, this limited-edition model has been customized with a red anodized pickguard.
Oil Finish

For the finish, we’ve used a white oil finish that brings out the colors of the parts. The matching headstock design, combined with a brand logo in the same color as the parts, creates a sense of design cohesion.
Revamping the Preset Panel Content

①Series/Parallel Switch
Typically, a Series/Parallel switch is used in place of the standard ON/OFF switch. When the switch is set to the right, the pickup is connected in parallel, allowing you to switch between the neck and bridge pickups using the selector switch, just like on a standard guitar.
When the switch is set to the left, the pickups are connected in series, with the neck and bridge pickups linked in series to increase the output. By enabling large single-coil pickups to be switched to a thick, rich tone similar to that of a humbucker, we’ve achieved a sound capable of handling an even wider variety of musical genres.
*Note: If the units are connected in series, the selector switch will not function, but the various knobs can still be used.
②High-pass Filter
The “High-pass Filter” is located at the preset volume position. When the pot is turned all the way up, high frequencies are passed through, but when the pot is turned down, high frequencies are blocked. This makes it possible to create a sound that tones down the distinctive high-end tone of the JM model.
③Low-pass Filter
The preset tone control features a “Low-pass Filter.” When the knob is turned all the way up, the low frequencies pass through, but when the knob is turned down, the low frequencies are cut off.
Comes standard with an MS-type saddle that is less prone to string slippage

This model comes standard with an MS-type bridge that helps prevent strings from falling off. In addition to excellent tuning stability, it also delivers a rich low-mid range and long sustain.
Joint Plate

While adopting a conventional plate joint to preserve the traditional sound characteristics, the plate section has been recessed to improve playability.
Wood Binding to Prevent Fretboard Problems

The sides of the fingerboard are finished with wood binding made from the same material as the fingerboard. This not only makes the sides of the fingerboard very smooth but also prevents problems such as burrs protruding from the frets.
Generously sized rod adjustment slot

The uniquely shaped headstock features a wide adjustment hole that allows for smooth neck adjustments. The shape has also been designed to be wider to make adjustments easier.
-New Specifications Following the Renewal-
“Hotrod” Pickup

As part of the 2026 renewal of Momose products, the specifications of the traditional “Hotrod” pickups have been improved. The output has been slightly fine-tuned to be a bit higher, making it easier to shape the sound for lead playing while retaining the full, resonant tone rich in harmonics during clean playing.
Luminlay side dots

All models feature side position markers made of Luminlay, a phosphorescent material that stores light and emits it in the dark. This feature is particularly valuable on stages in live music venues and concert halls where low-light lighting effects, such as blackouts, are used, and it has earned high praise from professional musicians. It reduces the risk of losing sight of your hands in the dark.
Puretone® jack

All models feature Puretone® jacks, which are renowned for their secure grip and low noise. Unlike conventional jacks, which have a single hot terminal and a single cold terminal, these jacks have two of each, allowing them to securely hold the plug from both sides. They are resistant to loosening even after long-term use and support players’ performances with consistent, reliable performance.
A Fretboard Designed for a Variety of Playing Styles

It features the 310R fingerboard, which is flatter than the vintage style. This allows for a lower string action than ever before, making it easier to tackle technical playing that requires fast fingerwork.
