Momose introduces an all-Tochi Body “MA” model & more!【Deviser One Day 2025】

The One Day Guitar Show 2025 is just around the corner! This article introduces some of Momose’s featured models. Alongside the new limited edition featuring the recently unveiled “MA” body shape from the Spring Deviser Special Showcase event, a special one-off Japanese wood model using the ever-popular Sakura and Tochi wood is also being prepared exclusively for this One Day Guitar Show event.

The Latest Model – “MA”

Modern shape featuring an archtop

Featuring a new body shape characterized by a wide horn and archtop. The model name “MA” stands for Momose Advanced, embodying a modern shape that signals a new era. All models produced this time feature an H-H pickup configuration, 24 frets, a two-point tremolo, and a coil tap switch, with specifications designed with the modern music scene in mind.

Alder body & Brazilian rosewood fingerboard

The body features a two-layer construction with a top and back, each crafted from Japanese horse chestnut wood、 displaying beautiful flame grain. The fingerboard and pickup escutcheon utilize Brazilian rosewood (Jacaranda), one of the most difficult woods to source today, elevating this instrument to an exceptionally special piece.

Three models in different colors

We plan to exhibit all three models, with brown and purple joining the blue featured in this article. Please look forward to the unveiling of Momose’s new style, worthy of a show model.

The top features rare Sakurawood with an expansive flame grain, powerfully and beautifully adorned by the traditional craft of Karuizawa carving.

Every step is meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans, resulting in a truly awe-inspiring appearance. A set of masterpieces are currently being crafted for the One Day event, guitars of exceptional quality by Momose’s artisans, imbued with the outstanding beauty of Karuizawa carving.
