What is the “Japan Tune-up” Series
Japan Tune-up In the Series (Japan Tune-Up Series), commonly known as the “JT Series”, each instrument is meticulously adjusted one by one at the Deviser Technical Center in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture, with no effort spared, resulting in a level of fine-tuning that allows professional guitarists to take the stage immediately. The manufacturing process focuses primarily on the fundamental steps involved in crafting guitars, which is why the skills of each individual craftsman are so important. By incorporating techniques from the Aska Workshop, where our craftsmen are responsible for manufacturing domestic products for our group companies, we are able to achieve the same high level of finish and cost-performance as our domestic products.
Nut and Saddle Machining for Improved Playability
At the nut, we make precise adjustments to the string height to ensure smooth chord changes. Additionally, by rounding the edges of the nut, we achieve both a beautiful appearance and a comfortable feel.
On acoustic guitars, the corners of the saddle are carefully chamfered to ensure a gentle feel during casual moments, such as when your hand brushes against it while picking.
Rounding the Fret Edges
By carefully rounding the edges of each individual fret by hand, using a variety of files and sandpaper, we’ve made it easier for your left hand to move smoothly across the fretboard. You can now glide effortlessly from the low frets to the high frets without any strain.
Adjusting String action for Better Playability
String action plays a major role in how easy a guitar is to play. Each guitar in the JT series is carefully adjusted to the optimal string action, prioritizing ease of fingering.
Carefully Selected Manufacturing Facilities
We select production lines from Deviser’s overseas manufacturing facilities that boast the most advanced production technology. Quality control is managed by specialists dedicated to the JT series, ensuring performance that meets the highest standards.
